This is basically the only liner I will wear. I have tried and tried to find something even remotely similar, but I have never come across any liner in any brand that can compare. I am a FFF and the Smoky Brown Color has been my color for at least 6 years now. It goes with any color shadows, stays on, and doesn't irritate my eyes.
Pros:Stays on, no sharpening, great color Cons:None
Hi my name is Marie this is my first post . Bought quickliner after researching reviews on this website and i couldn't be happoer. It goes on so smooth and stays on. Before i purchase any makeup in the future i will surely check in here first. Love this site.
Clinique Cream Shaper For Eyes in 01 Black Diamond: This is a creamy smooth applying liner for eyes. Glides on smooth and is smudgeproof and water resistant. The shade Black Diamond has a tiny hint of shimmer to it. You can apply this very lightly for a sheerer color or more for and deeper darker looking liner. This is non-irritating to my sensitive eyes.
Ophthalmologist tested.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:non irritating, ophthalmologist tested, hint of shimmer, glides on Cons:
Clinique's Quickliner for Eyes in 06 Violet is a very dark violet in my opinion (almost a violet/soft black). Glides on smooth, non-irritating for my sensitive eyes. I can wear this on inner rim with no irritation as well. Smudges nice for a smokier look or wears well bold and crisp.
My skin: NW25/sensitive/hyper-oily/acne prone w/ pink undertones.
Pros:Smooth application, non irritating & can wear on inner rims w/out irritation Cons:not smudge proof nor waterproof
Review: So I don't get the whole Black Honey business. I can understand why this product is bronze since honey is golden... blackened honey could be bronze. That works for me. But what's up with all the plum/berry blends? I don't understand the significance of the blackened plum to the colors name. I guess I must be the only one, since Black Honey is one of the #1 sellers for Clinque.
But.. I digress. I am smitten with this liner and I think my Fluidlines are jealous. I just love the metallic gold flecks mixed with the dark bronze. It makes my eyes sparkle. This is what I wanted MAC Rich Ground to be.
This product also lasts like a Fluidline does. I wore it all day with absolutely no smudges, smears, or fading.
Me: NC43, GGG, Green Eyes, Jet Black Straight Hair, Combination/Sensitive Skin
Pros:Great color that is truly long wearing Cons:Limited Edition and no longer available
yesyesyes i love clinique quickliner! i have 4 shades, new black, really black, mocha, and slate. clinique quickliner applies very quickly and efficiently and doesn't smudge alot, but occasionally rubs onto my lower lid. the color comes out nice and deep and also stays on for a while. it's also soo easy to take off with any make up remover, and is fairly well priced. but the transparent thing where the eyeliner is actually ON like falls apart and you have to like screw it in to put it back.
I liked this liner in the beginning, but as time went by, it
started flacking. It gives a great result, like the 20's movie star
eyes with the drak liner. It's great if this the first kind liquid
liner you are going to use, since it's easy to rub off and start again.
This was my first liquid eyeliner that I owned. I have tried several liquid eyeliners before and I just couldn't get it right. Some were too runny or too dry This one isn't! It is easy to work with.
I have 5 of these. My favorites are Smoky Brown & New Black. I also have Navy, Violet, and Slate. These are twist-up liners, self-sharpening (i.e. shape it by rolling the tip on a tissue). I find that they are easy an accurate even when dull. Incredibly easy to apply. Comes with a sponge-like smudger at the end. The only thing that I don't like about the packaging is that the clear lid that covers the smudger tends to fall off. Although honestly, I'm thinking that they improved this because this newest batch that I bought does not have that problem. New Black is great for fairer skinned people since it is not as harsh as a regular black. It is not gray though. Just a softer black.
Pros:Easy to apply, soft, non-irritating Cons:Cap at end falls off, some people may not like that it doesn't come with a sharpener
